Tuesday, won SKSS 2-0, playing away!
Thursday, won 2-0 at home, but we didn't played well!
Team kenna scolded by Mr Sofian badly!
Had training awhile even after the match!
Tiring!

Next week playing Pei Hwa!
Same thing Tuesday away,
but thursday's home game postpone to friday coz of dunno wad sec 1's thingy...
Haiss, and i may not be able to go to the 2km run at esplanade :/

Today posting th upcoming soccer tournament only!
This tournament will last for weeks, i guess?

Sengkang, Serangoon & Pei Hwa drawn in our group :/
WHY ARE WE DRAWN WITH THESE STRONG TEAMS ?!

Anyway,
we will be playing Sengkang next TUES!
Going to their school, playing AWAY!
Heard from Ryan's friend that they will only play a few first team players,
as they got NATIONALS!
Our school will be fielding our best starting 11!

But still we must not be complacent!
we will be playing 4-5-1!
I will be playing as RIGHT-BACK!
Then next Thurs,
they will be coming our school to play...

No matter wad,

I shall post some of the things that happen in this week!

Monday,
Nth much happen.
Same thing, Lessons after lessons!
After school, meet for SL, brief abt tml traditional games...
Had training...my first training!
Was fun! :D

Tuesday,
Reached sch at 7,
meet at hall and prepared for the traditonal games...
Somebody didn't came, and i needa take over her duty as court manager...
But was tiring, shout for classes, finding classes...
But was kindda fun too! LOL!
Oh ya! & Joylynn said she wan treat me ice cream coz i work till so hard! Muhahhaha!
After school had training,
preparing for tml's tournament...
Some upper secs came and joined us...

Wednesday,
Meet at sch at 7,
Bus-ed to Jalan Besar Stadium.
Match continue even though it was raining heavily but stopped after having lightening!

4 Groups, we in group 1.
1 group has 6 teams, only the top 2 teams qualify for the next round.
Our sch was 3rd in group stage, just losing by 1 goal in goal difference to i think loyang sec?
Mr Sofian treat us all to Mac,
Den talk talk talk dere......
Went back to stadium,
den after awhile bus-ed back to sch...
Reached sch, played police and theif and den captain's ball with the prefects!
Captain's ball kenna my face alot of times manx!
Den Home-d!

Thursday & Friday,
I was damn tired!
Can fall asleep anytime! =x
Den today all SL kenna abt 70 push ups by Miss Loo coz SLs, sleep in class and tucked out shirt!

Anyway,
recently i had been watching soccer videos
and trying to learn some tricks and skills! :DDD

Today,
school as usual.
Had Literature,
Mr Tay drew a stick man.
and told us to pass the marker around,
and draw the features and the accessories of a homosexual!
The end product picture was very funny!
HAHAH!

Den had PE,
at first we played monkey among our group,
den after that we played some passing and man marking to prevent opponent to tap the ball on the line.
Played dribbling, the whole court,
our team lost twice...=.=
total 20 push ups
LOL!

Next interesting lesson, is D&T,
did presentation of cam and follower again.
HAIYA! Marcus group didn't present, coz i think their thumbdrive got problem. Cannot deexiao him liao! LOL! Next lesson barh..haha

After school,
together with, M, WX, J, A, K, J, YZ, L
went to canteen eat then, slack awhile.
Den after that some go play b'ball, i play soccer.
WX keeper worh! haha!

At 3,
Went for SL training,
to like so called demo the 3 traditional games played by the sec 1s soon...
I choosen to be the in-charge of Hantum Bola with Joylynn.
Den blah blah blah,
Kelvan damn funny at Rounders.
HAHAH!
End at abt 5.

Went to play b'ball,
WX, very funny seh!
HAHAH!
Den after that rest while den i go play soccer! ...

after that all jiu sit down rest le.

I go the b'ball court,

den i accidentally kick the ball high and it went over the sch fence! =X
i ran out of sch to get the ball.
Heng, i found the ball and the ball didn't burst or wad, but the shape of the ball became OVAL!
I think is kenna knock by car or bus barh...

Today morning wake up
jiu feeling not that well le
but not having fever,
so go to school lorh.

During Literature,
Mr Tay was talking abt the first chapter of the book.

My group was the first,
and i was their presenter.

Went infront to present,

When i was reading,

Last day of AYG today,
kindda sad and miss it!

Reached there at 7.15,
den waited for the others to arrived.
Benjamin assign me to do the atheletes drop off point.
Kindda fun and chat with a lady and policeman...
Jokes and Laughters! HAHAH!

At abt 10.30,
Benjamin switch me in to do ushering in the hall.
Watched Semi-final boys competing,
China Vs Japan, 4-1
This was a close fight, a very nice match to watch!
China Vs Korea, 4-0
Korea got trashed! Not as nice compared to the previous!

The semi-finals ended at abt 11 plus,
and Break time!
Finals is at abt 3pm...

Actually wanted to take pics with the Japan and China atheletes but couldn't find them.
Haiss...Sad
Went to the table tennis hall,
took many group photos with friends and the adult volunteers.
FUN! (:
Tried to play table tennis at the competition area too! hahah(:
Den De-brief...

Took bus with Warner to Toa Payoh Hub,
Den mrt-ed to Douby Ghaut.
Meet Weixun, Houyou and Chan Kuan there...
Arcade, and Lan for about 2 plus hours......
After that, when to eat macs,
den train-ed to Ang Mo Kio,
meet Dionna, Sam, Jiaming and Qianping there.
Walked at AMK hub for awhile den jiu went home.

A True Living Testimony of Kelvin Soh, a previous drug addict, shares his journey from darkness into the light:

I grew up in a broken family and was raised single-handed by my grandmother. My father, an odd-job worker, was addicted to drugs. When I was nine months old, my mother hardened her heart and walked out of our family, as she could no longer tolerate my father’s wayward lifestyle. Growing up in such an environment,I took to many bad habits at a very young age, such as smoking, drinking, gambling and stealing.

I still remember the day I returned home from school and caught my father and his friends taking drugs. Out of curiosity, I stole some of their drugs and started smoking like they did. I was only 11 years old then.This one puff led me into a bondage that lasted for more than 20 years. During those years, I was arrested more than 10 times, and found myself going in and out of prison and the drug rehabilitation centre. I spent 20 years of my youth in prison.

When my grandmother saw that I was into drugs, she gave up hope on me and finally drove me out of her house. I never blamed her, because I had indeed broken her heart. However, I was tired of continuing such a lifestyle, and was also feeling very despondent and helpless. I tried many ways to change myself, but failed. I wanted to start my life over again, but no one could help me. My relatives and friends did not trust me anymore, and there seemed no one I could turn to for counsel.

Thank God, He did not forsake me. Actually, I had heard of the Gospel in 1989, but was not repentant then. The last time I was arrested, I was sentenced to five and a half years’ jail and given three strokes of the cane.One day, a Christian visited me in prison and shared the Gospel with me. He said, “The Lord Jesus Christ can change your life.” At that moment, I could not explain why, but my heart was greatly moved.

When I willingly opened my heart to receive Christ as my personal Saviour, God’s love began to transform me.One day, I was feeling bored, and tried to borrow a gongfu novel from a Malay prison officer. Amazingly, however, the officer brought me a Chinese Bible. Greatly touched, I thought to myself, “This must be the hand of God.”When I flipped the Bible open, a particular verse struck me deeply:

“My son,do not make light of the Lord’s discipline,and do not lose heart when He rebukes you,because the Lord disciplines those He loves,and He punishes everyone He accepts as arson.” (Hebrews12:5-6).

This verse really woke me up. A year later, I was transferred to another prison,where I started attending Bible study class.I also began to share enthusiastically with others about the life-changing power of the Gospel, and testified about the forgiveness and peace I had received from Jesus. During that time, I led 13 people to the Lord.
All glory be to God!

When my jail term was over, God led me to Breakthrough Missions to further equip me. At the centre, I read the Bible diligently every day, led a disciplined lifestyle and encouraged and helped the many brothers there who were still struggling with their addiction to drugs.

Every time I reflected on and counted God’s blessings in my life, my heart would be overwhelmed with thanksgiving, because Jesus had indeed changed my life. God had also given me many opportunities to witness for Him through songs and testimonies indifferent places.

Because of Jesus, my relationship with my family members also changed. When my relatives saw the change in me, they accepted me back into the family again, and even invited me to have meals with them in their homes. These were the kind of family ties that I had not enjoyed in many years.As I visited various churches to give my testimony, God also led me to my wife– Xing Xiu Yin. She not only accepted my past, but was even willing to marry me.I finally got to taste the sweet wonder of having a complete family.

All these would not have been possible if not for Christ’s love. I had been imprisoned for nearly 20 years, had no CPD saving sand hence could not afford to buy a house,and had no career or savings. But I have Jesus Christ, and so I already own all of these things.
Jesus said,

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these thing swill be given to you as well.” (Matthew6:33).

I was living in hell when I was into drugs, but God in His mercy gave me a new life, so I want to praise and thank my Lord. Aim willing to offer my whole life, and pray that God will continue to lead me, so that I can use my songs to share the Gospel and be a blessing to many others.

"With man, this is impossible, but with God, everything is possible."(Luke 9:23).

that decision is only wishful thinking until you take that first irreversible step. You can tell yourself that you have already decided, that nothing now can stop you, but if that step backwards is so much safer than step forwards, what will hold you true to your path when the going gets tough? Sometimes, the right thing to do is to take that first irreversible step, the one after which you cannot go back. And now, for you, is one of those times.

My thoughts:
A step backward is often easier than a step forward. But without progressing forward, I would never ever be able to reach my goal! After stepping forward, we may think that actually it isn't tough at all, is just how we think and look about it. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going! ...

that faith is exactly what it takes to get through uncertainty.Faith is not necessary when you know how things are going to work out, - that's knowledge. It's in the time of unknowing that having faith is what sees you through to the other side. Faith is what gives you strength. Faith is that light in your heart that keeps on shining even when it's all darkness outside. Now is the time to keep that faith alive!

Full Day AYG shift !
Table Tennis in the morning,
Diving in the afternoon.

Reached school at 6.30am.
Bus-ed to Toa Payoh,
reached at abt 7.
Then the Benjamin ( Big Ben ) assign us duty
and brief us abt it...
I did the standing and greeting and usher the VIP thingy,
no air-con! Bleah!

During our volunteering,
we change around the job ourselves,
sometimes went to rest,
without anyone covering for us,
coz everyone is busy with their own job...
If Big Ben couldn't see you at your allocated area,
he will be finding and will scould!
IRRITATING LAH!

We told this to Mrs Chong, den she went to speak to him.
After dat she called him down and talk to him with us around...
Stupid Big Ben act kind & innocent in front of the teacher...
HYPOCRITE!

Ate Lunch.
Den went to the diving side.
Sleep in the workforce resting room for abt 1 hour.
Den went to do our own duties.
Tiko uncle, keep talking to girls.
Mr Mole saying dat me and Irfan to playful liao.
Ok, but Mr Mole is kindda caring,
saw that my ankle kenna swollen then tell ppl to take icing for me to compress...

As usual,
school in the morning.
Gathered outside general office at 11.15,
as we were involved in AYG diving,
and headed to Toa Payoh Complex with bus.

Reached,
ate lunched first.
Den jiu slack around for awhile.
Abt 1 plus,
brief us about the duties we gonna do.

I and Irfan usher the spectaters.
There were many media blocking the entrance of the seats.
Saw a korean girl diver,
quite cute. hahah

Den spectaters slowly make their way out....

Had de-brief,
than had dinner dere.
Waited for bus to bring us back to school,

The worst thing is holding on to someone who doesn’t want to be held on to.

Often times we say goodbye to the person we love without wanting to. Though that doesn’t mean that we've stopped loving them or we've stopped to care. Sometimes goodbye is a painful way to say I love you.

Today went to gym,
den on the way,

When at gym,
I heard a conversation between an uncle and a teenager.
Here it goes ... ...

The teenager doing leg extension and put the weight untill super heavy.

Uncle: I curse you! Curse you ligament torn ! ( dee xiao )

The teenager down dere like very buay tahan cause very heavy marh.

Uncle: Gang gey ho mai gey kiang lah! Pui! Sia suay! ( joking )

After hearing this,
I down dere laughing lorh.
hahahah

A year later, I was transferred to another prison,where I started attending Bible study class.I also began to share enthusiastically with others about the life-changing power of the Gospel, and testified about the forgiveness and peace I had received from Jesus. During that time, I led 13 people to the Lord. All glory be to God!

Because of Jesus, my relationship with my family members also changed. When my relatives saw the change in me, they accepted me back into the family again, and even invited me to have meals with them in their homes. These were the kind of family ties that I had not enjoyed in many years.As I visited various churches to give my testimony, God also led me to my wife– Xing Xiu Yin. She not only accepted my past, but was even willing to marry me.I finally got to taste the sweet wonder of having a complete family.

Jesus said, “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these thing swill be given to you as well.” (Matthew6:33).

I was living in hell when I was into drugs, but God in His mercy gave me a new life, so I want to praise and thank my Lord. Aim willing to offer my whole life, and pray that God will continue to lead me, so that Icahn use my songs to share the Gospel and be a blessing to many others.

"With man, this is impossible, but with God, everything is possible."(Luke 9:23).

My Reflections:

Just want to take this time to remember God's love for me. God never left a sight of me, He was always there when i needed him, he was always there at my lowest point of life. Whenever i feel like giving up, i knew that my God was there and he will not forsake me. Just wanna tell everyone that don't give up, when things doesn't go your way, trust in the Lord cause he's got a plan for us, a plan which is so much better.

Why not, let's take some time to remember of how God has bless us before,we may have taken it for granted but why is that so that we only praise God when something good happen to us, why not praise him even when something that doesn't go in our way happen to us cause God will always be bigger than our problems,God will always be God and no one could take His place.

Recently,

A story that i had just read - The Story of the Butterfly

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to squeeze its body through the tiny hole. Then it stopped, as if it couldn’t go further.

So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bits of cocoon. The butterfly emerged easily but it had a swollen body and shriveled wings. The man continued to watch it,expecting that any minute the wings would enlarge and expand enough to support the body, Neither happened!

In fact the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around. It was never able to fly. What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand:
The restricting cocoon and the struggle required by the butterfly to get through the opening was a way of forcing the fluid from the body into the wings so that it would be ready for flight once that was achieved.

Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. Going through life with no obstacles would cripple us. We will not be as strong as we could have been and we would never fly. So have a nice day and struggle a little and teach well.

Things that I had learnt after reading this story:
- sometime struggles are needed in our life to propel ourselves into greater heights.
- need to solve problems to evolve and learn how to change to a better person.
- problems can be a helpful obstacle that once we manage to get past it, we will gain tremendous insights and experience that will be most helpful to our personal growth.
- It is our own perception that derives the meaning of problems.
- The only thing that matters is how you define them. ~ You can see problems in a good way or bad way and either way you are right.
- Life is definitely full of problems and we will learn to view it as challenges and be stronger and better each and everyday.

This is a great and meaningful story and it had motivate me in a way.
Having to face difficulties isn't a bad thing at all,
it makes us grow stronger and be prepared to face tougher challenges ahead of our life.

& in her post I saw a little girl who’s suffering from cancer

Currently in her fourth stage!...

I kindda felt sorry for her traumatic illness

As wad Samantha had said in her blog,

Dat we should TREASURE LIFE,

& I totally agree with this.

Treasure every single day, every single moment

Every single hour, every single minute and second

SEIZE THE DAY AND LIVE EACH DAY TO THE FULLEST!

&& cherish your loved ones when they are by your side,

or you will really regret once you had lost them.
